Why it’s a good deal:
For £334.99, this is excellent value for a 12th-gen i5 laptop with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD – specs you’d normally pay £500+ for, even refurbished.
The i5-1235U is a significant leap over older generations, and Iris Xe graphics handle everyday tasks, media, and light productivity work smoothly. The fingerprint sensor and privacy shield are nice bonuses you don’t always get at this price point.
Keep in mind:
- Refurbished (A Grade) – but Argos eBay refurbs are generally reliable
- Integrated graphics only – not for gaming or heavy rendering
- No touchscreen or backlit keyboard mentioned
Best for:
Students, home office, browsing, streaming, office work, and general multitasking.
