When we first started making Easter eggs, 20-plus years ago, we were advised to make them as fine as possible. We decided to break the rules and break the mould instead, opting for outrageously thick shells that are satisfyingly snappable.

Those who’ve savoured our previous Rocky Road to Caramel Extra-Thick Easter Egg will recognise the satisfying texture of this one: it’s crafted with two of our smoothest and creamiest chocolate grades. One half crispy cookies and puffed rice in 40% milk; the other half malty, not-too-sweet caramel-milk.

If that isn’t enough, once you open up this decadently thick creation, you’ll find a generous selection of our most popular milk and caramel chocolates inside, with many cast as dapper bunnies and tiddly eggs for Easter. The perfect Easter present for fans of mellow recipes, our Milk to Caramel Extra-Thick Easter Egg comes ready to gift in a reusable tin, inspired by the shape of a growing cacao pod. It’s the perfect place to store biscuits, baked treats, or even Velvetiser drinking chocolate. Just so you know, the tin should be washed before it’s reused and should only be used to store food that’s wrapped.
